Terms & Conditions

Where as ____________________________(“Customer”) wishes to hire After Thoughtz, LLC for freeze drying floral preservation services and hereby agrees to the terms and conditions as set forth herein:

Customer agrees to pay $____________________, which is nonrefundable, for freeze drying the flowers. Customer will also pay a non-refundable deposit of one-half of the account balance at the time the order is made. Customer can make the design selection prior to the event or after the event but no later than 3 weeks after the event. Customer agrees to pay the non-refundable balance, in full at the time Customer selects the design.

After Thoughtz accepts cash and checks as methods of payments. In the event of a returned check, Customer agrees to pay a returned check fee of $30.00 and Customer agrees to make all future payments in cash, money order, or cashier’s check.

After Thoughtz will contact Customer by phone or mail once Customer’s design is completed. Customer agrees to set an appointment and pick up the keepsake within 3 weeks of the notification of completion. Any keepsakes not picked up after 6 weeks will be considered abandoned. The keepsakes will become the property of After Thoughtz, and Customer shall have no right to receive any monetary reimbursement. If abandoned, the keepsake can then be used for display purposes.

After Thoughtz provides free consultations prior to the event. Customer agrees to consult with After Thoughtz 3 to 6 weeks prior to the event regarding Customer’s floral selection, care and handling. If Customer chooses not to consult with After Thoughtz, regarding the specific flowers to be preserved, After Thoughtz shall in no way be responsible if the floral preservation is unsuccessful.

Customer agrees that After Thoughtz is not responsible for damage or loss of flowers due to acts beyond its control, i.e. fire, flood, power failure, or any other acts of God.

Customer understands that flowers may change color slightly and color enhancements may be used. Flowers will change color tones over a period of time. Customer should keep the preserved keepsake out of moist areas (i.e. bathrooms, kitchens, outside porches) and out of direct sunlight to prevent deterioration and pre-mature fading.

Customer’s order serves as Customer’s consent to allow After Thoughtz or its representatives to use images created of your keepsake for editorial, advertising, contest, and exhibition purposes. Customer’s order also serves as your consent to allow After Thoughtz to create your display using our best judgment with your selections. After Thoughtz is authorized to use whatever materials and techniques necessary to properly mount any memento without regard to damage, staining, or reversibility. All Bouquets are disassembled so each flower can be individually pre-treated with solutions that shatterproof, set natural color, and open cell structure. We select the best flowers after the freeze dry process to use in your designs. Flowers not used in the designs become the property of After Thoughtz. After Thoughtz reserves the right to substitute matching flowers when needed due to damage of original flowers. Extra charges may apply.

After Thoughtz stands behind the quality of its work. If Customer has a problem with the keepsake after receiving it, please call us immediately and we will make arrangements to correct the problem. Customer agrees that workmanship and materials are guaranteed for 90 days from the date the keepsake is picked up by Customer. Damage due to mishandling is not covered. After the 90 day period, we will be happy to make repairs at a reasonable cost.

In no event shall After Thoughtz become liable to Customer beyond the amount of monies paid to After Thoughtz by Customer. Customer releases After Thoughtz for all liability beyond such value. All sales are final.

I have read and understand all the terms and conditions of this contract, received a copy and have the authority to give After Thoughtz LLC permission to disassemble the flowers and create a keepsake under glass or acrylic.
